Who can apply for the SAL KWTAL Charitable Trust Internship Programme?

Students, and individuals interested in social work, community development, education, healthcare, information technology, fund raising and other related fields are welcome to apply, subject to eligibility and programme availability.

How do I apply for an internship?

Visit the Apply for Internship page on our website, complete the online application form, and submit the required information. Our team will review your application and contact you if you are shortlisted.

How can I choose an internship programme?

Applicants should select an internship programme from the list of available internship programmes on our website. Please choose the programme that best matches your academic background, interests, or institutional requirements.

What if my preferred internship programme is not listed?

If you cannot find an internship programme related to your field of study or interest, please contact us. We will review your request and let you know if a suitable internship opportunity can be arranged.

Is there any application fee?

No. There is currently no application fee for applying to the SAL KWTAL Charitable Trust Internship Programme unless otherwise notified.

Is there any interview or selection process?

Yes. After reviewing your application, our team will contact shortlisted applicants. As part of the selection process, shortlisted applicants must attend a face-to-face meeting with the Chairman of SAL KWTAL Charitable Trust. Applicants who are minors must be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian.

What should I bring to the interview?

Student applicants are required to attend the meeting in their institutional uniform and present a valid Student Identity Card issued by their educational institution. Applicants who are minors must be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian. Applicants who are not students shall present their Aadhaar Card and Voter Identity Card for identity verification at the time of the meeting.

Is parental presence compulsory?

Yes. For minor students, the presence of a parent or legal guardian during the meeting with the Chairman is mandatory.

Will I receive confirmation after submitting my application?

Yes. Once your application is received, our team will review it and contact you regarding the next stage of the selection process.

Can I apply if I am studying outside Tripura?

Yes. Students from any recognized educational institution may apply. Selection depends on programme availability and the Trust’s requirements.

Can I apply for more than one internship programme?

Is attendance compulsory during the internship?

Yes. Interns are expected to maintain regular attendance and actively participate in the activities assigned throughout the internship period.

Will I receive training before starting my internship?

Yes. Selected interns will receive an orientation about the Trust, internship objectives, work responsibilities, reporting procedures, and expected code of conduct before beginning their internship.

Will the Trust provide Travelling Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA)?

No. The SAL KWTAL Charitable Trust does not provide Travelling Allowance (TA), Dearness Allowance (DA), accommodation, or any other travel-related expenses.

Is the internship paid?

Unless specifically mentioned in the internship notification, the internship is voluntary and does not include any stipend, salary, or financial remuneration.

Will I receive an Internship Completion Certificate?

Yes. Interns who successfully complete the programme and fulfill all assigned responsibilities, attendance requirements, and evaluation criteria will receive an Internship Completion Certificate issued by the SAL KWTAL Charitable Trust.

Can my internship be counted towards my college or university requirements?

Yes. Where applicable, the internship may be considered for academic requirements, subject to your college or university’s rules and acceptance.

Can the Trust issue recommendation or experience letters?

Recommendation or experience letters may be issued to deserving interns based on their performance, discipline, attendance, and overall contribution during the internship.
