Refund and Return Policy
At SAL KWTAL CHARITABLE TRUST, we value the trust and generosity of every donor, supporter, and well‑wisher. We are committed to maintaining complete transparency and ensuring that all contributions are used responsibly for charitable purposes. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which donations may be refunded.
1. Donations Are Generally Non‑Refundable : All contributions made to the Trust are treated as voluntary and non‑refundable, as they are immediately allocated to ongoing charitable activities, welfare programs, and community development initiatives. However, we understand that errors may occur, and we are committed to addressing genuine concerns with fairness and sensitivity.
2. Eligibility for Refund : A refund may be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment made due to technical error.
- Incorrect amount entered by mistake.
- Unauthorized transaction or payment made without the donor’s knowledge.
- Accidental payment made to the wrong organization or account.
- Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the donation date.
3. How to Request a Refund : To request a refund, donors must send a written application to the Trust via email or official communication channel, including:
- Full name of the donor
- Date and mode of donation
- Transaction ID or payment reference
- Amount donated
- Reason for requesting the refund
- Proof of transaction (if available)
The Trust may request additional information if required to verify the claim.
4. Processing of Refunds :
- Once the request is reviewed and approved, the refund will be processed to the original mode of payment.
- Refunds will be credited to original payment method in 7–14 working days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
- Any transaction charges, bank fees, or gateway deductions will be adjusted from the refundable amount.
5. Donations Made for Specific Causes : If a donation is made toward a specific project, event, or emergency relief, refunds may not be possible once funds have been utilized or allocated.
6. Right to Decline Refunds : The Trust reserves the right to decline refund requests if:
- The request is made after 7 days
- Funds have already been used for charitable purposes
- The donor fails to provide required verification
- The reason for refund is not genuine or valid
All decisions made by the Trust will be final and binding.
